A study to assess the knowledge regarding ABG analysis and interpretation of ABG results among staff nurses

Background: An arterial blood gas (ABG) study is a test that measures the levels of many different gases like oxygen rich blood, carbon dioxide and bicarbonate, some these measured directly, while others are calculated from measurement other by measuring in blood.Objective: To assess level knowledge regarding ABG analysis interpretation results among staff nurses.Materials Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional design convenient sampling technique was followed. This research conducted 30 samples. Data collected using structured questionnaire. done descriptive inferential statistics. Results: Shows with regard to nurses, 5(16.7%) had ‘A’ grade, 6(20 %) B+ 13 (43.3%) B 4(13.3%) C grade 2(6.7%) D mean value 19.0 standard deviation 3.5 nurses.Conclusions: The concluded majority nurses knowledge.
